Work Health & Safety (WHS)

Our dedicated WHSEQ managers work closely with our site teams to achieve these objectives and ensure safety remains a top priority.
Environment
At Fordan, we take our environmental responsibilities seriously and have implemented several initiatives to reduce our carbon footprint. For example, we pre-assemble project fixtures at our facilities whenever possible, which reduces on-site waste, minimizes packaging, and boosts recycling efforts. This approach also reduces the number of staff required on-site, contributing to more efficient project delivery.
With experience in working in highly rated NABERS and Green Star environments, Fordan has qualified Green Star engineers on staff. We have contributed to several prominent environmental projects, such as 161 Castlereagh Street and Barangaroo in Sydney, which aims to become the largest carbon-neutral commercial precinct in Australia.
Fordan is an active member of the Green Building Council of Australia.
Quality
Fordan is proud to have developed and implemented an integrated quality management system in compliance with the international ISO 9001 standard.
Our quality management system, outlined in the Fordan Management System Manual, provides a framework to ensure best practices are maintained by us and our subcontractors. This includes controls to identify and address potential quality, health, safety, and environmental issues as early as possible during service delivery.
